Admission Process

1. Application
Turn in the completed Student Application Form (Student Application form in PDF, requires Acrobat Reader) to the Director of Admissions on-line or at the interview. Upon receipt of the on-line application we will send you a confirmation response message.

2. Interview #1 with the Director of Admissions and Wide Range Achievement Test - Conducted only on Wednesdays
Contact GGIS for an interview appointment with the Director of Admissions at 36-1-275-4795. Both parents and the child/ren should be present at the interview. Parents or Guardians must agree to their children taking part in the full curriculum of the school including Bible classes to be considered for entry into the school.
Following the interview the student takes the Wide Range Achievement Test. (If for some reason the child can not take the test at that time, please contact the school for a new testing appointment.)

Submit the following documents at the interview:

  1. Application Form
  2. Preparatory Information Form (if applicable)
  3. Transcripts in English from previous schools attended
  4. Immunization Records in English or international abbreviations must be used
  5. Passport/Visa/Residency Permit
  6. Fee of 10,000 HUF for Wide Range Achievement Test. (IF student attends GGIS, this fee will be deducted from the tuition fee.)

3. Testing – English and Math Placement Tests – Conducted only on Fridays
Students at various grade levels will be evaluated to assess background strengths and determine levels of proficiency. Appointment will be scheduled at the interview #1.

4. Notification and/or Interview #2
A decision will be made about the admission and placement of the student based on the interview, transcripts and testing. Parents will be informed about the decision by phone, email or at the interview #2. In case the admission process is being discontinued a notification will be sent to the parents indicating the reason for the discontinuation.

5. Registration
Upon notification of acceptance by GGIS, the registration process may take place. Contact GGIS at 36-1-275-4795 for a registration appointment with the school registrar. Uniforms can be purchased at this time.

Submit the following documents at the registration:

  1. 3 passport size photos
  2. GGIS Medical Form
  3. 550 HUF for Student ID Card
  4. Copy of Health Insurance documents

 

6. Enrollment
Students will be enrolled into their classes based on the results of the interview, testing, registration and documentation receipt.

7. Starting School on Tuesday
New students start at GGIS on Tuesdays during the course of the school year.
